My name is Ira, and I am a professional pianist and piano teacher. Why do I paint? Because it is truly pleasant… My adventure with painting started in May 2017 when during a rainy holiday afternoon I was looking for something intriguing to do. I accidentally found a set of glass paints while browsing the internet, and planning to decorate one of my rather sad looking vases, I bought them. Glass painting turned out to be so captivating, that I started doing it every day. Soon I bought other kinds of paints and started decorating fabrics and leather handbags as well. As I give most of my works away as presents, they tend to quickly disappear from my view ? That is why I decided to make this site a place where photos of my works can be viewed. All of my designs are spontaneous, which means that I never plan ahead or make sketches and that I never know the final result until it’s done as it depends on the circumstances, my current mood and state of mind ?
